A small Cheyenne cradleboard composed of a beaded hide body mounted on painted wooden slats decorated with tacks, beaded design displaying dog, triangle, and stripe patterns, and decorated with beaded hide strips with blue ribbons. Frame: The wooden frame consists of two vertical pointed wood slats decorated with brown-colored tacks that are attached to two horizontal wood slats with glue and hide straps. Blue felt cloth is attached to hide strips on the back of the frame. Body: The beaded; hide body is sewn to a stiff hide backing that is attached to the wood frame. The beaded designs, displayed on a yellow background, including dog, triangle, and stripe designs. On either side two pairs of hide strips decorated with blue ribbon and gold beads are attached. The body is laced together with blue ribbon. A natal amulet in the shape of a lizard is attached to the PL side of the body.
