Subject Optic Neuritis; Demeylinating Disease
Description Causes of optic neuritis (ON) can be difficult to distinguish at presentation before results of serologic testing are known. We applied a novel deep-learning variational autoencoder (VAE) to determine whether OCT thickness maps can distinguish between typical and atypical (MOGAD vs. NMOSD) optic neuritis at presentation and at later time points.
