Description Vision loss from papilledema, the most serious complication of IIH, is difficult to predict at initial diagnosis, but only occurs in patients with high-grade papilledema for whom deciding whether aggressive treatment at presentation is necessary. We compared patients with severe papilledema and poor or good visual outcomes.
