Description YAG capsulotomies are considered effective and safe. The four mains complications are ocular hypertonia, retinal detachment, refractive changes and macular edema. They are rare, when the procedure respects the rules of the art, namely a limited number of impacts, and energy delivered. We describe 9 patients with optic neuropathies secondary to uncontrollable ocular hypertonia.
