His wife and her two sons built the rock house. If they did, they had to be pretty good rock masons for their age. Of course most pioneer women were able to do almost anything they put their hands to. No matter who the builders were, it stands as one of the monuments to past history. It has had some changes made inside and additions put on the outside, buy for a house, that has had so many different tamilies live there, it has still weathered the storms.
