| Description | Cavernous malformations are congenital or acquired abnormal tangles of blood vessels, with less than 1% of all cavernous malformations occurring in the optic chiasm. They often present with chiasmal syndrome, characterized by bitemporal hemianopia or a junctional scotoma. Here, we present case of a 22-year-old patient with an incidental left optic chiasmal mass and no visual symptoms, but imaging findings concerning for a cavernous venous malformation. |
