Description |
Address: 5445 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT. This address was the home of Southside Church of Christ starting in 1987. More recently, it housed CrossPoint church, a Freewill Baptist congregation. After that church chose to sell its building and move to a "house church" approach, the Saint Jude Maronite Parish purchased it, in January 2019. The Saint Jude Maronite parish was formed around 1976 to serve Catholics in Utah of Lebanese descent who observe the Maronite Rite. Their home beginning in January of 1980 was a former parish church in Murray. They took stained-glass windows, altars, and other elements of the Murray building along as they remodeled the Taylorsville church building. |
