This is a 6,820 sq. ft. service ba,garage building with a concrete slab foundation and of concrete block construction. It consists ofthreb separate blocks with the eastern and western blocks being one story and the central block being two stories. It has a flat roof and a single brick chimney protrudes in the center of the building. An out-of-character addition was built on the east end of the building in 1980. The north fa<;ade of the original building has four bay doors and a single metal pedestrian door on the ground story and the upper story has four 2/4-light fixed-pane windows. The south fa<;ade has a single glass and steel pedestrian entrance and five 3/3-light fixed-panes windows, one paired 3/3-light fixed-pane windows, and one single and one paired window openings that have been filled in. A swamp cooler protrudes from one of the 3/3-light windows. The second story ofthe south fa<;ade has four combination one-light fixed-pane over two-light sliding aluminum windows. These four windows appear to be replacements. An air conditioning unit protrudes from one of the central windows. The addition on the east fa<;ade consists of half-height brick with raised-seam metal siding above the brick and raised-seam metal roof cladding. There is a large one-light fixed-pane window in the south fa<;ade, two two-light aluminum fixed-pane windows on the north fa<;ade, two two-light aluminum windows and one one-light aluminum fixed-pane window on the northeast fa<;ade, and one one-light aluminum fixed-pane window, a single one-light aluminum door and a double one-light aluminum door on the east fa<;ade. 5 HISTORY Architect/Builder: Date of Construction: 1944 Historic Themes: Mark themes related to this property with "s" or "c" (S = significant, C = contributing).
