Description Address: 121 Park Avenue, Park City. Dedicated as Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, this limestone Gothic Revival structure is the oldest existing Catholic church in Utah. was built in 1884 to replace an 1881 wooden chapel that burned down. Stone retaining wall added in earl 1900s. The church served many immigrant miners from southern, eastern, and central Europe. In 1997, a new, larger building was completed elsewhere in town, but the old chapel continues to serve the Old Town neighborhood with daily Mass.
