The north portion of the house is a hand hewn timber square cabin with gables and squAre notching. '£ his cabin is connected with the south portion of the house qy a short section of coursed ashlar. The brick south portion of the house is Victorian, including a front facade shingled gable with a gable end pent and relieving arches above the windows.
