Typescript and manuscript drafts of campaign speeches by Utah Congresswoman Reva Beck Bosone during her run for re-election in 1952. Themes included defense of her voting record against charges by her opponent that she was a "leftist"; a discussion of the economic conditions under Democratic and Republican administrations; the use by Republicans of fear of socialism and other "propaganda" to get into office; the debate over "socialized medicine"; the need to keep the public informed about about federal foreign policy; and a defense of her record concerning campaign contributions with respect to the Corrupt Practices Act.
