Constructed in 1969-1971 and dedicated on February 9, 1972, the Provo Temple displayed a modern exterior look, featuring white cast stone; gold anodized aluminum grills; bronze glass panels; and a single painted spire. The temple was closed for remodeling in February of 2024, with plans to give it a very different exterior appearance. |
