This project was conducted as part of an assessment for the proposed widening of State Road 126 between 12th and 30th streets in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. Historic Site Form (continuation sheet) 4. continued ... 1869 West 2100 South, West Haven (SJ-346) This property represents a 1930s vernacular crosswing residence. One outbuilding is associated with the residence. Architectural Description Residence The property has a residence and garage on it dating from 1930. The house, a vernacular side gable cross-wing, measures 7.6-by-14.6-m (25-by-48-ft) in size (Weber County Assessor 1973). The house rests on a concrete foundation and is covered with aluminum siding. The roof is covered with asphalt shingles. A hipped roof addition was built onto the north (front) side of the house in 1976. The eastern half consists of a covered porch held up by wrought iron supports. The western half is enclosed. All windows on the house have been changed from the original to two or three light sliders. There is a front door which has been placed in the east side of the porch enclosure. Garage 1955. Southeast of the house is a cinderblock, front gable, one car garage. It was constructed in 1869 West 2100 South, West Haven (SJ-346).
