Ground breaking for the new $704,000 structure. Officials on hand at the ceremony were Glade I. Nelson, city manager; Billy D. Murray, school board member; Sam Snyder, Mayor; Ned Oaks, project foreman for Ledger Construction Company; Kenneth R. Aycock, school board member; Jack Allred, city councilman; Warren D. Richardon, county commissioner; Jack D. Stagg, city councilman; and Lloyd Winward, city and county contract auditor. Kenneth G. Anderton, chairman of the school board is at the controls of the earthmover. |
