Description Steven Jeffery (b. 1980) grew up in Sandy, Utah, and starting climbing with his siblings at age 9 or 10. Steven quickly became one the best climbers and won many climbing competitions as a youth and adult competitor. Steven worked at several climbing gyms at the start of the mega gym boom. Steven discusses two important first ascents in his climbing career in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Steven moved with his wife (Adriana Chimaras) to Castle Dale, Utah, to 'adopted' Joe's Valley. He works closely with land managers and the Emery County community to preserve Joe's Valley bouldering.
