Address: 227 27th Street, Ogden, UT. Members of New Zion Baptist Church left in 1971 to form a new congregation affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. Later, they joined the National Baptist Convention. They purchased the former LDS First Ward meetinghouse at 301 33rd Street. In 1997 they purchased their present site and sold the old building to the city. (It was demolished and the site is now a city park.) New building constructed 1998-99, and first services held in February of 1999. |
