A four-year-old boy engaged that shift lever of an unattended idling vehicle. The vehicle crossed the two busy Main Street lanes of traffic, missed two parking meters and finally struck the flag pole in the front lawn of the County Courthouse. Claudius Banks was the investigating officer. Motor Hotel (Hotel Vernal) is in the background. |
