The purpose of this dedication is to prevent the destruction or impairment of unique natural values, and to afford opportunity for recreationists to enjoy travel under conditions similar to those existing in the early days of the West. Here the public can engage in the forms of outdoor recreation characteristic of that period, thus helping to preserve national traditions and ideals. -- Green Forests maintain water supplies, furnish wood products, provide recreation, help prevent floods. Remember, only you can prevent forest fires -- Happy Vacations, the carefree life, companionship, clean air, clear water, green forests. All this is worth protecting! 1. Crush out your smokes. 2. Break your match in two. 3. Drown your campfire. -- Keep the Wilderness Clean. Visitors are asked to observe the following health rules. 1. Help keep the waters pure. Mountain streams if contaminated will not purify themselves. Boil all suspected water. 2. Burn or bury all garbage, papers, tin cans. 3. Do not wash clothing or utensils or bathe in streams, lakes, or springs. Use a container and throw dirty water on the ground or in a receptacle away from water supply...4, 5, 6, 7. -- Accomodations and Locations -- You can stop this shameful waste! -- Good Hunting, Thank you Mr. Sportsman.
