Bonar 2 5 W II: ::J ow ~ !::: :I: o -c II: 6 >- II: o ~ en % Architect/Builder: Building Materials:wood siding Building Type/Style: Description of physical appearance & significant architectural features: (Include additions. alterations. ancillary structures. and landscaping if applicable) The home is a quaint little frame structure, quite unlike anything else in Beaver. It has an irregular floor plan, and its massing is quite compacted. There is a dtfinite verticle emphasis, though the home is only one and a half stories tall (ground floor plus an attic) and quite small. The siding is tongue and groove while there are Jerkin heads on the points of the gables. Interesting details are the bevelled, leaded glass window and the lathe-turned fancy work on the porch. William first built the large "I" house next door and was quite prominent in Beavers religious life. He served as secretary to John Riggs Murdock, the first stake President, as well as on two missions for the L.D.S. church, one to India and one to South Africa. The home is significant because of its unique house type (in Beaver), its historic date and its nearly unaltered condition. Unfte4 Stat. .
