Description Non-ophthalmology trainees and physicians often report low levels of confidence in diagnosing and treating ocular issues. Thus, ophthalmology consultations are frequently requested to aid in the evaluation of challenging cases. The workup such diagnoses entail is not always clear-cut and may include both a neurology and ophthalmology consult. Here, we seek to better understand the work-up taken for neuro-ophthalmic diagnoses and to elucidate whether there is data in support of establishing independent neuro-ophthalmology consult services.
