Description |
We tested the novel hypothesis that specific peripheral visual field loss (superior versus inferior) will result in specific impairments (recognizing places versus navigating through them), and that specific impairments then will result in specific quality of life (QoL) issues. Studies in typically sighted individuals have shown that place recognition relies primarily on superior peripheral visual input, while navigation relies primarily on inferior peripheral visual input. |
