Description Horner syndrome may occur as the result of a lesion anywhere along the sympathetic pathway supplying the head, eye, and neck. Painful Horner syndrome subtypes including Horner secondary to a trigeminal autonomic cephalgia and Raeder's paratrigeminal neuralgia are rare in occurrence and remain with few well established treatments.
