Description Papilledema due to idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) in children differs from that of adults.There are different hypothesis proposed in understanding the pathogenesis of IIH. Certain medications or systemic conditions have been associated with IIH and they are called as secondary intracranial hypertension (SIH) .Here we present a child with papilledema with open cranial fontanelle.
