Description Linezolid is frequently used to treat drug-resistant bacteria, including MRSA. With prolonged use, case reports of peripheral neuropathy and optic neuropathy have been reported as adverse effects. We present a case of linezolid-associated toxic optic neuropathy as well as a review of data of clinical course after cessation.
