Description Vitreopapillary traction (VPT) syndrome is characterized by persistent vitreous attachment to peripapillary region, with resultant tractional forces leading to anatomic and visual disturbances. We present a case series of clinical presentations ranging from benign elevations of the optic nerve to an ischemic optic neuropathy-like clinical course that may mimic that of papilledema or non-arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) respectively.
