Pod Checkout - by Adam Hughes The Marriott Library is proud to announce iPods for checkout to students, staff & faculity through a federal grant made possible by The Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). To control & customize the iPod user interface we have setup and use a notes-only mode called Musuem Mode. The iPod notes' feature supports basic HTML-ish tags, that you can links notes to one another and to audio or video files stored on the iPod. We also developed scripts used to reimage the iPod after they have been returned from checkout. Adam will give an overview of the project, discuss note HTML tages, script to re-image iPods, and our interest in collaborating with others on campus to create and add content to be distributed to the iPods.
