Description |
This home was the former residence of the Charles Malmstrom family, a prominent pioneer family who operated a blacksmith shop located east on 6400 South. Malmstrom Street was later named after this family. The Joseph DeLass Blain family moved into the house in November of 1919 and lived there many years. Sherm & Gwen Smith moved into the house in 1972. The property still included a root cellar, garden, granary and a corral with stalls. |
