Description |
This house was designed and built by James & Mary Lavinia Fairbourn Sabine. Mary's father, Edward Fairbourn, owned the property bordered by Big Cottonwood Creek, State Street and 4500 South (known as 16th South until 1917). Nearby Fairbourn Street is named for this pioneer family. Mrs. "Mayme" Sabine resided there until her death in 1965 at age 89. James and Joan Menlove owned the property in 1958 but lived in Salt Lake City. The house is now a home care facility. |
