Title |
Home at 4928 S. Wasatch Street built in 1928 |
Subject |
Murray Historic Registry |
Description |
Home was built for John Olson (or Jones). In 1942, Mr. & Mrs. Fay Curtis moved here and shared their home with officers needing housing while waiting for Camp Kearns to be built. In the early 1950s, the house was remodeled to make two apartments with separate entrances and five fireplaces were bricked up. Bryce & SueAnn Bodily purchased the home after Mr. Curtz's death and they continued to renovate and restore the home to its historic beauty. |
