Description |
One of the earlier homes located on Vine Street, John William and Lydia Stark Krebs moved into this house in 1916 and gutted it to remodel. When the floor was torn out, one of the children was exposed to and developed smallpox. Mr. Krebs operated a candy store where the popular Tom Harrops candy shop was located. Two sons, Vaughn and Oscar, were heavily involved in community baseball leagues. S. Rudolph & Mildred M. Isaacson owned the property by 1958. |
