Mr. Anderson was a long time engineer for various companies in Ogden City, spending most of his years at the Amalgated Sugar Company. The house was also shared by their daughter who was a school teacher at Quincy. The home was sold in 1936 to Melvin H. Lewis, and wife Bessie, Mr. Lewis was employed by the U.S. Forest Service. The Lewis' owned the home until 1980. The home is part of the Bichsel Subdivision, which was developed in 1890 by Edward Bichsel, a local realtor.
