Description | Duward and Esther Campbell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They wre married in 1923. Esther was born October 16, 1899 at Harmony, Minnesota. She taught school in Moffat County, Colorado, for 32 years at Powder WAsh, Greystone, Castle Park, Twin Wash, Skull Creek, Mantle, Lodore School and Lila School. Duward worked at carrying mail horseback between Massadona and Elk Springs. They moved to Douglas Mountain and bought toe Charlie Clauson place and proved up on it. After Esther retired they moved to Jarvie Ranch in Brown's Park where they started the Pioneer Museum in the old Jarvie store. |
