Description This was the lead float in the Utah Centennial Parade in Vernal, Utah. It was titled "Daughters of the Utah Pioneers." The girls standing on the float are, from left to right: Marva Walker, Donna Hatch (County Queen) and Karma Lee Einerson. The businesses on the right side of the street are: Westinghouse Appliances (Searle Electric Appliance Co.), and Commercial Hotel Coffee Shop. The businesses that are visible on the left side of the street are Brooks Diamonds, an unidentified building with an advertisement that reads "Beer" (it may possibly be a saloon or the Vernal Bowling Alley), and Chevron Service Station. This photograph is one of the frames in the roll of negatives that is cataloged under the accession number RHC.2023.02.01.
