Description This was the lead float in the Utah Centennial Parade in Vernal, Utah. It was titled "Daughters of the Utah Pioneers." The girls standing on the float are, from left to right: Marva Walker, Donna Hatch (County Queen) and Karma Lee Einerson. The businesses in the background are the Commercial Hotel, Westinghouse Appliances (Searle Electric Appliance Co.), and Vernal City Office Free Museum. Note the Utah Centennial banners hanging over the street and from the buildings. This photograph is one of the frames in the roll of negatives that is cataloged under the accession number RHC.2023.02.01.
