It reveals the relationship of the divine with Israel, of God with His chosen people, of the promises in God's covenant to a local people. It speaks of steadfast love, unwavering kindness, and loving benevolence. It signifies compassion and leniency. Biblically, mercy signifies the irrevocable commitment of God who promise to 1 GIN fashion us into His people to serve him who loves and protects us. It is the disposition that tempers justice, induces injured person to forgive trespasses and injures, to forbear punishment It is directed and exercised only toward offenders. It implies benevolence, tenderness, mildness, pity, compassion, and clemency. God has oceans of mercy and delights to show it. an This text is God has our reminder that plenty of mercy. His mercy is not consumed. A woman who had never traveled before joined her friends in taking a holiday abroad. Third, Moses assures the children of Israel that because of God's mercy, will not be forgotten in covenant relationship. in store for God has we something special He wants to restore and us. reclaim and revitalize and revive and reconcile us unto Himself. So that we together and talk together and claim Him as our own. He forgets our sins in remission but He never forgets His children. Somebody needs to tell satan that we belong to God and He has not forgotten us. It was 42 generations before Jesus came, but God had not forgotten. Psalm 86: 15 says, the Lord's mercy plenteous. Psalm 1 00: 5 says the Lords mercy is ever is lasting. Psalm 109:21 says the Lord's mercy good. Micah 7: 18 says the Lord's mercy is 6 delightsome. Luke 1: 78 says the Lord's mercy is tenderly bestowed. Ephesians 2: 4 says the Lord's mercy is rich. 1 Peter 1: 3 says the Lord's mercy is abundant in supply. 7 |
