Correspondence from 1958 between Marriner S. Eccles and various people and groups requesting his participation and attendance at various events. Due to his busy schedule and dividing his time between residences in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, Mr. Eccles declined many more invitations than he accepted. Among those declined was the invitation from Illinois Congressman William L. Dawson to testify on a bill to amend the Employment Act of 1946. Includes a copy of the bill and testimony on the bill published in the Congressional Record of 3 June 1958. |
