Title Effect of Inebilizumab on Attack Severity and Biomarkers of Disease Activity in NMOSD
Creator Jeffrey L. Bennett, Michael Smith, Brian Weinshenker
Subject Neuro-ophth & Systemic Disease (eg. MS, MG, Thyroid)
Description NMOSD typically presents with optic neuritis (ON) and myelitis. Inebilizumab reduces risk of attack and disability. We examined (1) the relationship of attack severity with serum glial fibrillary acidic protein (sGFAP) and serum neurofilament (sNfL) with a focus on ON attacks and (2) the effect of inebilizumab on attack severity and serum biomarkers.
