UHS Football

The photographs were taken for the 1954 edition of the Uintah High School yearbook. They are on page 109. The partial photograph in the top left corner is of the Football Team playing in a game. (See page 108 for the rest of the photo.) The photograph in the top right corner is of an unidentified Cheer Leader. The partial photograph in the bottom left corner is captioned: "It looks like there's no way out for this Union player as Terry Anderson pulls him down from behind." (See page 108 for the rest of the photo.) In the bottom half of the page, the portraits are of some of the members of the Football Team. Top row, from left to right: Grant Richens (Athletic Manager), Edward Merkley, Kenneth Caldwell, and Tom Wardell. Bottom row, from left to right: Sterling Kendall, Kenneth Hacking, Gary Slaugh, and Lyle McCarrell.
