UHS Speech Contestants

The photographs were taken for the 1952 edition of the Uintah High School yearbook. They are on page 104. The photograph in the top left corner is of the Readings Contestants. They were: Dee Hall, Dwayne Case, Carillon Searle, Ora Fay Wardle, Phillip Jenkins, Connie Oaks, Renee Henderson, and Carole Calder. The photograph in the center right of the page is of the orations contestants. They were: Clair Murdock, Renee Henderson, and Rodger Hacking. The photograph in the bottom left corner is of the contest play entry entitled: "The Highness." It was written by Ruth Grorloff and directed by Mr. Jarrett Jarvis. The cast members were: Dale Ross, Loreen Johnson, Marilyn Robins, Gene Weeks. Elinor King was the student director.
