Title search completed Feb. 2021) * (spelling change) Ishmael H Beck who died in 1943, "moved from Chester to Spring City "where he has made his home for 21 years. (Obituary in 9 Apr 1943, Mt Pleasant Pyramid). Confirms 1922 date of construction. Allan Beck and then Earl Beck lived in it. Vacant since lIena Beck, wife of Earl Beck, died in 2000. *2021 updates were completed for buildings constructed between c.1915 and c.1960. These buildings had been documented previously only at a minimal level, in large part because the period of significance for the historic district ended in 1915. The 2021 update of the National Register documentation for the historic district would expand that to c.1960. Ishmael Beck built the house in 1919. Beck's son, Earl, is the current owner. An older frame house originally stood on this lot and was occupied by Anine Justesen, the plural wife of Rasmus Justesen. In 1910, Rasmus built Anine a new house located on block 40. After Anine's move, the lot was divided between Anine's son, Ernest, and her daughter, Clara. Ernest built a house on the corner lot. Clara married Ishmael Beck and the couple built this blillgalow.
