Ishmael Beck built the house in 1919. Beck's son, Earl, is the current owner. An older frame house originally stood on this lot and was occupied by Anine Justesen, the plural wife of Rasmus Justesen. In 1910, Rasmus built Anine a new house located on block 40. After Anine's move, the lot was divided between Anine's son, Ernest, and her daughter, Clara. Ernest built a house on the corner lot. Clara married Ishmael Beck and the couple built this blillgalow.
