This gable facade "T" plan a design disseminated throughout the U.S. by builders' pattern books, represents the influx of non-local architectural preferences into the Spri~ City area. This house reflects one important stage in the town's historic:~ development. Hyrum Larsen built the house in 1913-14. Later owners were Joe Do~mward, and Max Jensen. The house has changed hands several times during the last years on a speculative basis~ 1870 deed to J.T.Ellis. Ellis family deeps the entire parcel until Sena Christensen Ellis sells the north portion to Hyrum Larsen for $30 in 1913. Joe Donnard buys in 1915.
