The pyramid cottage \Vas extremely popular throughout the United States and here represents the introduction of non-local architectural ideas into the area. 1870 deed to Fredrick Olsen, \vho sells to Soren Petersen for $10 in 1879. The lot \Vas vacant tmtil this house was built in 1914. Mariah Petersen, the \ddOlv of Soren: Petersen (they first lived in house #192 on block 44), remarried a Jorgensen and this newly \\'"ed couple built this brick house at that time.
