Description In conjunction with the Institute of the American West, KBGL-TV (Pocatello), produced a one hour video documentary called "Inventing the West," focused on human interactions during the nineteenth and twentieth century. The collection is comprised of both illustrations of these events and photographs of groups of people. Five images labelled a, b, c, d, and e depicting different textile products of Indigenous Americans with the original captions "Products of the textile art," and "a, Openwork fish baskets of Virginia Indians; b, manner of weaving; c, basket strainer; d, quiver of rushes; e, mat of rushes."
