Spanish illustration of lions pulling a carriage

In conjunction with the Institute of the American West, KBGL-TV (Pocatello), produced a one hour video documentary called "Inventing the West," focused on human interactions during the nineteenth and twentieth century. The collection is comprised of both illustrations of these events and photographs of groups of people. An illustration of two lions pulling a carriage westward towards mountains with the original caption "Plano Geographico, de la tierra descubierta, nueba mente, a los Rumbos Norte Noroesta y Oesta, del Nuebo Mexico," etc. " English translation: "Geographic Plan, from the discovered land, new mind, to the North Northwest and West Rumbos, of the New Mexico..."
