Description Marfan syndrome (MFS) is an autosomal dominant disorder of the connective tissue characterized by early development of thoracic aortic aneurysms and/or dissections. The presence of MYH-11 mutation has been associated with Familial thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection (TAAD) .Horner syndrome in a patient with MFS indicates carotid dissection until proven otherwise.
