Subject Pediatric Optic Neuritis
Description The Optic Neuritis Treatment Trial (ONTT) provided a vast amount of knowledge with regard to ON in adults. Despite this, there are little prospective data related to pediatric ON(PON). There are differences between adult and PON that may impact visual recovery and the diagnosis of MS. Furthermore, no studies have prospectively evaluated other metrics such as low contrast visual acuity (LCVA), retinal nerve fiber layer thickness (rNFL), or quality of life (QOL) in PON.
