Description Intracranial aneurysms are surgically managed by microsurgical clipping of the aneurysm neck, endovascular coiling of the aneurysm sac or balloon occlusion of the parent vessel. Cases with broad-based aneurysms may not be amenable to these techniques. Microsurgical wrapping of the aneurysm wall with muslin may be applied.
