To report the association of anterior ischemic neuropathy (AION) with laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). A healthy 57 year old woman received bilateral LASIK surgery for myopia. Immediately after her patches were removed she noted severely reduced vision and a central visual field defect on the right. |
