Optic nerve head meningocele (ONHM) also known as dural ectasia of the optic nerve sheath is rare. It is reported in patients with neurofibromatosis type 1, but can also be idiopathic. ONHM can cause optic nerve dysfunction, cystoid macular edema, acquired hyperopia and choroidal folds. |
