Description Acquired pendular nystagmus (APN) may be monocular or binocular, vary in trajectory, and consists of pseudo-sinusoidal oscillations, that are transiently-abolished by saccades and blinks. APN results in highly-disabling oscillopsia that impairs visual acuity and postural stability, and affects cosmetic appearance. We present two patients with monocular APN that was attenuated by application of vibration to the skull.
